I'm moving to Paris, France (well actually Bougival, which is 12 miles west of the city)and living with a great family with 3 beautiful children. I will live in a studio apartment in their house (with it's own outdoor entry). I'll travel with the kids, spending 6 weeks on the beach for the summer, Christmas in the Alps, and all other holidays in France. I may go to Kenya, Africa with them, and I have 2 weeks vacation. I'll travel as much as possible! I can't wait to be fluent in French!

LOVE the new hair!!! CUTE!
I am so happy to hear that you are beginning to feel a part of the family. There always is a transition time when we make changes, and yours was a really big change!
Sounds like you had an experience that was really scary, but I guess even those can become a good thing at times. Glad to hear Grandpere is OK. Take care! Keep on the lookout for your package. Should be arriving soon! Take care and have FUN! Love Carolyn
Laura - your dad and Carolyn just stopped by the office and I learned of your blog. Had so much fun reading it. Thanks for the French words. I enjoy refreshing my high school French. Your hair is HOT!!!
This year will go by so quickly you won't believe it. Enjoy! The personal growth will be amazing.
Take care! Martha
Laura, love your new hair! Your journal entries make me feel as though I'm there with you. i love food so I enjoy hearing how meals are enjoyed there! "Super" writing. It's hard to adjust to a new family and then on top of that their extended family, but it sounds like you are fitting right in. Soon, you will make new friends to hang out with on your off time. Take care and have fun! Jen Holley
Hi Laura,
Carolyn just sent me your blog. I've been thinking about you and wondering how you are. You sound like you're having a great time. I haven't had a chance to read everything yet, but I will. I did catch some of the more current fun stuff. You are such a wonderful young lady and having this opportunity; you will grow in so many ways with each new experience. Is there anything you need that you can't acquire there?
I am leaving next weekend for Gig Harbor for the annual Pierce County AIDS Foundation Walk A Thon. My best friend (of 36 years) is on the board of directors for PCAF. So will be visiting her for a few days plus the walk.
You take care and have a ton of fun.
Love, Auntie Teresa
PS: Love the new hair!!
