click here to view a few more pics...will update next week
Here's a pic of us on the boat near the Dune du Pyla...it's pretty windy on the water, so despite the warm weather it's best to wear the jacket because of the huge waves that make it a wet ride back to the beach!

Hey there girl! I got your package today! Thanks for the nice coasters. They are great! So nice to read the details of how it is going and learn how you have acclimated to this new culture! Going back to Paris will be another transition, but this one will be far easier, I'm sure! I'm so glad to hear that you are going to be able to take the French classes only 2 days a week and will be able to take an exercise class. You'll enjoy that and it will be another way to network with other people outside the family. :-)
We are going to try to get up to MAP travel today to start the planning process for our trip in the spring. We are looking forward to it. We have worked on the language program a little, but certainly not enough. I think once we get through this "class," I will get a travel DVD/CD to learn a few more little phrases! Hopefully we'll be able to say a few things in French when we get there! I hope so, for the time and $ investment! :-)
Your dad washed the Jetta yesterday and is driving it once in awhile. It still runs fine and looks good. Take care and we'll write again soon! Love, Carolyn

A question... do les enfant read yet? It might be fun to get some childrens books in English to read to them. It would help with the language also! Hmmm....... let me know! Thanks!! :-) Carolyn

I'm so glad to hear that things keep getting better!! This is probably going to be one of the best and most memorable years of your life. It's bizarre to think of you living in Paris for a year. You will soon be a fluent French speaking American!
Things are good in L-town - I'm busy working a lot because the kids are finished with summer school and have 2 more weeks of vacation (a.k.a. they are at the house all day long). I also moved a bunch of stuff to my apartment in Cheney. Then Mom and Dad and I went to the Bourne Ultimatum. You should totally see it in Paris! It was really good.
Talk to you later,
Courtney
